By: lily Lovejoy-JohnsonQuestions:
1.) I plan on glazing my pot all the way around and paint the inside and outside. I want to fix my lid and put the cookie back on the side. I also want to try and fix the edges of my piece to make it more realistic. Once I'm all the way down I am going to take it home and put it in my kitchen and use it as a jar. 2.) I think it is really difficult to smooth everything out, also to make everything perfect. Once it is dry there is no more you can do and your piece must be perfect cause you can't fix it. 3.) I think using the cylinder really helped my piece and it made it easy to work with and made it easy to make it perfect. I also think using the slab technique is easy to use. 4.) I decided to use the slab technique as it would make my pot perfect and it seemed pretty easy to use. It was really really nice to work with, but rolling out such a big piece of clay had some difficulty. My pot was really rough around the edges and side so I took a paint brush a water and smooth them out.
